About me
—
Good sexual health is a fundamental part of human well-being.
My work and my passion lie at the intersection of sexual health promotion, communications, implementation science and health service research, with the ultimate goal of empowering people to have healthy, confident, and safe sexual relationships.
I design and lead strengths-based, innovative public health research, with a particular focus on health equity. I tailor engaging health information to diverse audiences, and I am strongly invested in inclusive and accessible knowledge translation.
My 16-year industry career across the sexual health and blood-borne virus sector provides a strong foundation for identifying practical applications of research in real-world scenarios. My current research interests include novel testing modalities, peer-led approaches, innovative health promotion, optimisation of routine health care, and redesign of sexual health services to meet the needs of under-serviced populations.
